In addition to teaching at the University of Washington, Scott is often invited to give talks on conservation, environmental ethics, and improving student learning in college courses—particularly in the sciences and across all student populations.

Portland Audubon Wild Arts Festival

“A celebration of nature in art and books.”

Looking forward to signing books, talking books and talking about working outside on land projects big and small. Susan and I will be in Portland, Oregon, for the Audubon Society’s arts festival November 17-18: signing books and answering questions from noon to 4 p.m. and browsing the array of art exhibits before and after.

The Wild Arts Festival is open Saturday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.; book signings from noon to 4 p.m.

There is an entrance charge but youth 14 and under are free.
